I <3 collecting

what do you collect? And why? What symbolic value do the objects you collect hold?

Over the course of three workshops, 13 artists from Project Motje presented their collections, and inspired by it, created a ceramic sculpture and a poem. With those, we created an exhibition as a search in the church in Solwerd during the festival Terug Naar Het Begin.
With the stickeralbum, you were invited to see for yourself which artwork matched for you which collection. The sticker of that collection you stick next to that poem in the stickeralbum. Can you see the symbolic meanings the artists have incorporated into their work? Or do you give it a new symbolism in your stickeralbum?

Thanks to Project Motje, het resort, terug naar het begin and the church of Solwerd.
